No one can extend or modify the obligations set out in this policy. OWNER OBLIGATIONS To maintain the validity of this limited warranty, we require that you regularly inspect and rotate your tires in accordance with the recommendations detailed in the sections of this manual entitled “Tire Damage, Inspection and Life” and “Radial Tire Rotation”, and to provide proof of this in order to make an adjustment. Such a test must show the date, mileage and place of service. A purchase receipt containing this information will suffice.
In addition, a “tire maintenance log” is included in this manual. To request an adjustment, you must present the tire to an authorized dealer. Complete and sign the customer section of the Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC limited warranty adjustment form and pay the corresponding replacement price, taxes, disposal fee and service charges, if there would be. Many tire dealers offer some type of optional road hazard warranty when you buy replacement tires for your passenger vehicle, CUV, SUV or light truck.
The Platinum Pact limited warranty covers all Bridgestone brand passenger and van tires, except for winter and “temporary use” replacement tires. These additional warranties are generally not available for heavier truck tires or for tires used in commercial or racing applications. Some Bridgestone and Firestone brand passenger and light truck tires sold in sets of 4 or more tires through an authorized dealer are covered by the 90-day purchase and trial warranty. The Gold Pledge Limited Warranty covers all Firestone brand passenger and van tires, except for winter and “temporary use” replacement tires.
